WARWICKSHIRE COMMUNITY AND VOLUNTARY ACTION (WCAVA)
On the 1st April 2008 Warwick District CVS merged with 4 other independent
organisations from across the county to form
Warwickshire Community and Voluntary Action (WCAVA). Warwick District
CVS joined Nuneaton and Bedworth CVS,
Rugby CVS, Volunteer Centre Rugby and Volunteer Centre Warwick District
to form the new countywide organisation,
with North Warwickshire CVS expected to join in the near future.
Therefore we have now launched the new Warwickshire Community and Voluntary Action (WCAVA) Website .
The new site
will grow as we continually develop it and the entire organisation to
better meet the needs of the
diverse Voluntary & Community Sector organisations and groups that
we support within Warwickshire.
The website
can be searched by the ‘geographic’ area that you want support
from or by the ‘subject’ area.
The website is here purely as a resource for you, our member organisations
and groups, to gain easy access to
our services and support whilst also promoting yourselves and your events.
