The
CVS-WD Training Team is currently seeking further funding
so that we can continue to provide training that suits your
needs and assistance with quality development. When our funding
is secure we will inform you of our new calendar of events.
Background
The Training and Quality Development Project was set up in
October 2000 to develop a low cost training programme for
the community and voluntary sector in South Warwickshire and
to encourage and support groups to implement the quality system
PQASSO (Practical Quality Assurance System for Small Organisations)
This work was originally funded by Stratford District Council
, Warwick District Council and Warwickshire County Council.
Funding is now available from the Local Learning and Skills
Council via European Social Funding. We are working closely
together with other CVS and Volunteer Bureaux in Coventry
and Warwickshire to deliver training and quality development
opportunities that are relevant and good value for money.

Our services
Short
training courses
We provide day and half day courses on a variety of topics
relevant to paid staff, trustees and volunteers of community
and voluntary organisations. Last year we conducted a training
needs analysis to see what training was most urgently required.
Our programme has been put together as a result of that response.

Signposting
to other courses
If we don’t provide the course you want, we may still
be able to help you. We produce a training diary in our bi
monthly Know How magazine which contains details of other
training events in the locality alternatively, please give
us a call or e-mail us and we may be able to point you in
the direction of someone who can help you.
Quality
development support
We provide support for organisations who want to implement
PQASSO or Quality Mark in their organisations. For more information
